How to make Manifast is a collaborative project on how to be an ethical commercial graphic designer. In the past, graphic designers could pursue creative collaborative projects and sustain themselves through government subsidies for arts and culture. However, recent funding cuts have made this nearly impossible. With even fewer subsidies expected, many artists are forced to take on commercial work out of financial necessity. This manifesto, aims to help designers become ethical designers despite this commercial necessity.
