Just Ask AI

In today's world, the phrase "Just ask AI" is becoming increasingly common. Our teachers don't seem to mind how much we rely on generative artificial intelligence (Gen-AI). It’s quick and convenient. But to maintain this speed, the servers powering Gen-AI require massive amounts of water to stay cool. This is consuming natural resources and impacting the environment. Global temperatures were already rising, and now AI is contributing to climate change as well.
Gen-AI systems are trained by using the entire internet, every source can be examined and used to gather information. It is not able to detect whether a source is reliable or not. How are we able to trust the answers Gen-AI gives us? And what does that bring to the future? By using Gen-AI, we are not lazy, we are efficient. Or are we?

This collaborative project merges Processing and Arduino together, to show the effect of Gen-AI on our environment. Ask a question and the AI will respond to it, but it will directly influence the plant.
