On the 17th of August 1981, my great-grandmother passed away. This publication focusses on all the traditions that come with a Romanian funeral. Every aspect of these traditions is explained by using my great-grandmother as example. There were pictures taken before and during her funeral which help illustrate the traditions. For example, everything you give to a person (food, clothes, jewelery, tableware or any other item) in the name of the deceased will also arrive to the deceased in heaven.
